Sarah and Marcus (baby Daphne, too!)

My first shot at maternity portraits. So much fun with this shoot, and it went surprisingly quickly.  Next job will be shots of newborn Baby Daphne!

10 Block Radius of AI

Some images from a project for Photo Essay.  We had to wander around the 10 blocks North of the Art Institute and give a sense of place through images.

INDIE!

This layout was inspired by Ashley :) Indie was so happy that it was sunny the other day, I couldn't resist using her as a model.

DIRTBIKING!

This is my 5 photo series done as my final project for Printing.  It was so much fun to shoot, and even more fun to edit. The web doesnt really do these justice because they were intended for print, but I still love them.  They will be hanging in my house very soon.

White on White on White!

This is one of my favorite shoots I did this term.  This is a famous printing assignment for class, the project was to shoot at least two white objects on a white background.  I suppose it came out very wedding-esque.. but I like it!

Product Photography!

Here is my first attempt at food photography, which I think I really enjoy.  I will definitely be continuing this "soup" series as I learn to make more soups.  Apparently the hardest part of food photography is the styling of the food, which I learned is a very tough thing to do.

Beef Stew.

Chicken Tortilla Soup.

Both of these were taken with natural light next to a large window.  On the Tortilla Soup I used a mirror on the left side to bounce the light from the window in order to get even light on the bowl.

YUM!
